Estonia is easy to reach by plane, boat, bus or car. Reaching Estonia by train is only good if you are coming from Russia or Latvia.

Biggest international airport in Estonia – Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport – is located in the capital Tallinn and you can fly direct from most major cities in Europe. It was rebuilt in 2008 and now offers everything necessary for comfortable travelling: numerous restaurants, cafes, lounge areas; free public WiFi throught the airport; shops; smoking rooms and a postal office. Accepted documents are passports and ID-cards (within European Union). The national airline is Estonian Air. Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport is very close to the city centre – only 10 minutes drive away. You can rent a car, take a bus or get a taxi to get to the centre. The airport’s bus stop is located in front of the terminal of arrivals.

  1. Bus number 2 Mõigu – Passenger Port (Reisisadam) In the city centre the bus stops next to Viru Keskus at A. Laikmaa street.
  2. Bus number 90K Tallinn Airport – City Centre Tickets are sold on the bus for 2 EUR. Tickets are sold by the bus driver upon entering the bus. Tickets are available also from the R-Kiosk in the Passenger Terminal.
  3. Tallinn Airport is located some 4 km from the city centre and an estimated cost of a taxi ride to the city centre is about 10 EUR.
