module_alignment_tablet=&#8221;&#8221; module_alignment_phone=&#8221;center&#8221; module_alignment_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Eugene Sadler-Smith<\/h2>\n<p>Eugene Sadler-Smith is Professor of Organizational Behaviour, Surrey Business School.\u00a0 He has a B.Sc. from the University of Leeds and a Ph.D. from the University of Birmingham.\u00a0 Before moving into academia he worked for British Gas plc (1987-1994).\u00a0 His main research interests are intuition (in organizational decision making) and hubris (in leadership).\u00a0 His research has been published in various international peer-reviewed journals such as <em>Academy of Management Perspectives, Academy of Management Executive, Academy of Management Learning and Education, British Journal of Psychology, Business Ethics Quarterly, Human Relations, Organization Studies, Organizational Research Methods, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal<\/em>, etc.\u00a0 He has written four sole-authored books: <em>Learning and Development for Managers<\/em> (Blackwell, 2006); <em>Inside Intuition<\/em> (Routledge, 2008), <em>The Intuitive Mind<\/em> (John Wiley and Sons, 2010; translated into Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian); and <em>Hubristic Leadership<\/em> (Sage, 2019). \u00a0His research and consultancy work has included projects with various public and private organizations and government departments; his intuition research has featured in the media including BBC Radio, Sky TV, <em>The Times<\/em> newspaper, <em>Forbes<\/em> (Korea), etc. \u00a0Eugene Sadler-Smith is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), and Academy of Social Sciences (FAcSS).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
