Viktoriya Onegina, Professor of Department of Finance, Economics, Law, and Systems, Clermont School of Business (France); Department of Global Economy, State Biotechnological University (part-time, Kharkiv, Ukraine). She received her Doctor of Economic Sciences Degree from National Scientific Center \u201cInstitute of Agricultural Economics\u201d (Kyiv, Ukraine), Ph.D. in Economics from Kharkiv Karazin National University (Kharkiv, Ukraine).
She participated in the International Educational and Research Exchange Programs (Faculty Exchange Program of USDA, Fulbright Scholar Program), educational and research projects (World Bank, DAAD), numerical International Scientific Forums, and Conferences; has experience as a Head of scientific project teams, visitor lecturer.
She is a member of editorial board of some scientific journals; author of about 250 scientific articles and books. Her research interests: sustainability of agro-food chains, economics and management of innovations, competitiveness, and economic policy (https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-0794-8032)
She is a member of professional societies: Clermont Joint Management Research Centre (CleRMa), Ukrainian Congress of Agricultural Economists.<\/p>\n

Preparing for large-scale transformations to achieve the goals and objectives of the European Green Deal (EGD) requires companies\u2019 efforts to change their business and production processes, their workforce\u2019s reskilling. This study was aimed to assess the level of involvement of French companies in their employees’ training regarding ecological issues; and to test some factors (enterprises\u2019 size, their belonging to groups, networks, etc.) that might be essential for this involvement. A quantitative methodology was used; data processing was done by means of MS Excel and SPSS. The database included the results of Employer Training Survey – European (EFE-e) which was conducted by French public research centers CEREQ, Dares, and French competencies in 2022 regarding the professional training in France, in 2021.
The results of study testify that the percentage of companies that provided ecological training was not very high in France in 2021. The micro and small enterprises were less involved in ecological training in comparison with large enterprises. To achieve the EU-foreseen green transition, more companies’ involvement in employees\u2019 skills for ecological transition and sustainability is needed.<\/p>\n
