Karin Jaanson

I have worked as an Executive Director of Estonian Research Council since 2015. I am responsible for strategic planning and administrative work at the Council. Before that I worked for Deputy Secretary General for Higher Education and Research at the Ministry of Education and Research as an adviser. My main responsibilities were coordination of internationalization of higher education and research and entrepreneurship education in higher education. I have worked as a deputy mayor (city finances and economic development) in Tartu City Government.  I have master degree in public administration from the University of Georgia, USA and master of arts degree in economics from University of Tartu, Estonia.
