Sven Maričić

Sven Maričić is an associate professor, who focuses on advanced technologies, specifically additive technologies, artificial intelligence, and robots, as applied to the field of biomedicine. He is recognized as a pioneer in the utilization of 3D printing technology within the field of surgical procedures throughout Europe. Sven has received a multitude of esteemed recognition and acknowledgments, such as the State Award for Science, international recognition through the receipt of gold and silver medals for innovative achievements, alongside various other distinguished honors. Currently, he holds the role of Director at the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, at the Technical Faculty at the University of Juraj Dobrila in Pula and the position of the Head of the Center for Biomodeling and Innovation in Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rijeka.
