Mait Rungi 

Professor at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences

Mait Rungi is an Professor at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia). He has over ten years experience in both academia and industry, including positions such as Rector, Professor, Chief Information Officer (CIO), Team and Project Manager. His current research is focused on organizational behaviour, innovation, and strategic management aspects such as transformational leadership, traits, values, absorptive capacity and dynamic capabilities in ICT industry and start-ups contexts.

His publications have appeared in journals (including Industrial Management & Data Systems; The Journal of High Technology Management Research; International Journal of Managing Projects in Business; The Learning Organization; Higher Education, Skills and Work-based Learning; International Journal of Law and Management) and various conference proceedings, including EURAM and EGOS top international conferences. He holds a D.Sc. from Lappeenranta University of Technology (Finland). He has received several research and teaching awards including the conference honourable mention award and outstanding reviewer award and several of his supervised theses have received best thesis awards. He has convened and carried various tasks and tracks in EURAM 2015-2018 & 2020.
