Entrepreneurship and Employability<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]will be held on the 18th of May 2018 at\u00a010A Suur-S\u00f5jam\u00e4e, Tallinn, Estonia<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”60px”][vc_row_inner row_type=”row” type=”full_width” text_align=”left” css_animation=””][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]Every university must increasingly more face one of their most important goals – to prepare students for career and real work in real organizations. Students’ employability is the criterion according to which best HEIs are rated. At the same time, entrepreneurship education is on the rise and many universities and educational approaches show the importance of entrepreneurship competencies.<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]There is an overlap between the broad set of competencies that contribute to graduate employability and the characteristics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behavior. Any successful employer values an employee with creative ideas, problem-solving skills, and social skills. This set characterizes an entrepreneurial person but also refers to high employability. In order to be employable students should possess the skills, knowledge and personal attributes that would be noticed by employers. Employers value enterprising people for their fresh thinking and what that means to the workplace, for the skills to bring new business idea, venture, product, or service to life, for being ready to take risks in order to achieve success.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

The aim of the conference is to bring together people who care about the graduates’ ability to meet employers’ needs and expectations, who understand the universities’ role in this, and who are ready to recognize entrepreneurship education and competencies as one of its solutions.<\/h4>\n
